"This lantern came EXACTLY as described, which was great for me! I was a little worried about the color description "cobalt blue," as cobalt blue is actually a shade between royal and navy blue. I hoped the lantern glass would be closer to the teal in the picture, and it is--a lovely dark turquoise (teal) color. I am using it as decor on my wall units to complement my collection of articles from around the world, and since my husband is from the Middle East, I am thrilled to have this piece in my home! When considering the dimensions, keep in mind that the 10 1/4" height includes the overall height (to the top of the hanger ring). I would classify this lantern as fairly small, but it is perfect for my needs."

"What a great buy!! I was amazed when I opened my light sets today and saw the quality of them! They are very well made and came extremely well packaged..I could not have asked for more! I purchased two sets and have some on the ground stakes and the others on the shepherd hooks which were included. They make an interesting statement in the front yard and I am certain will be enjoyed for a long time to come. I especially like the fact that the they glow a soft amber color which makes them much more attractive than many of today's brighter solar lights."

"This is a nice looking lamp and worked fine but has a few issues.

1. The surface of the clips are padded, which is good. However, the rest of the clip is hard-edged metal and could scratch or mar the surface to which it is attached.

2. The cord travels through the flexible neck and into the lamp shade where it is knotted to prevent it from being pulled out. The problem I had was the knot took up so much space that is was tricky to get the bulb inserted because the knot was in the way. I had to be very careful not to break the bulb while trying to get it inserted.

3. This is the big one. The lamp doesn't use the normal screw-in bulb that you can get anywhere in the US. Instead it uses a two-pronged bulb that you insert and twist to lock into place. I've never seen the kind of bulb for sale in the normal place where you get light bulbs so I suspect it will be a special order. It is a CFL so I hope it lasts a long, long time. "

"I use a tall ladder and poked the solar cell stake into the top of a really tall cactus plant in the back yard and then I threw the lights over the top. Now the curious cactus looks like a Christmas tree. People will wonder - how did we get electricity to such a strange location up so high. When I read the instructions I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this is one of the few solar power products that use lithium battery technology. Lithium is superior to NiCd because it can deep-discharge many times and it stores more power and lasts a lot longer. This 50-bulb set comes in two varieties - flashing and non-flashing. The flashing kind has a lot of different flash patterns that cycle around. You can create very interesting displays in locations previously inaccessible to 120V lighting. A lot of solar power lights have cheap build quality but this one is high quality. Even the switch at the bottom has a rubber covering to keep the rain out, and in comparison a lot of more expensive solar products don't even have such attention to detail. I'm impressed, highly recommended! "
